RE: Euro count
I am only just beginning to read your book. Thank you for your efforts and making this available. With regards to your general statement here, isn't it determined of the structure upon whether the corrective is zigzag or flat;
FLATS (3-3-5)
ZIGZAGS (5-3-5)

Thanks again,
Happy New Year to you and all involved here

Very Good to have you here and I am very glad you brought that into question.

The shapes have never actually had any impact on wave formation and
are only observed as shapes from a bird's eye view so to speak. The true
counting and proper usage of the details of the count will require the
technician to get a little closer and see what is really there.

The allowance of differing wave structure than the motive 5 and
corrective 3 has been done only because of the lack of knowledge about
the NEWR and the resulting improper counting of the wave itself.

I wish to be crystal clear on this:
There are only 5 subwaves for motive and 3 subwaves for corrective waves.

This is the simple elegance to which I have referred. We have the luxury
of leaving much excess baggage at the curb and going about the work
of definitive counting within that simple structure.

Happy New Year and Good trades to you all.

RE: Euro count
Hi nizar,

Right off the bat without actually counting through what you have there
is a problem with a failed wave which is not possible in EW.

Nisar, I do not mean to sidestep your request but I do not count most
areas of most forex pairs. Perhaps you may recall that I mentioned this
in the NEWR ebook.

There would also be a bit of a conflict since I sell a commercial system
which I also use for forex trading. You may certainly post your own
counts and others are free to lend an assist.

I would also suggest that if you are fairly new to this NEWR then use
some historical sections and then it will be good practice doing counts
where the results are visible and prove certain aspects.

I do step in when some error of Standard EW or NEWR are seen.

I will take this moment as an opportunity to invite anyone who wishes
to learn more about that commercial system called Supertradesystem.

It is not exclusive of NEWR by any means. Here in an email I received
yesterday evening (Apr. 11th, 2011) is something that says it better
than I could:

Quote:Hello Mr Hennessy,

Just wanted to take a moment to thank you. My first week with your system has resulted in 4 nice trades this week. I have Aud/Usd shorted last night and up 80 pips today so far! And my usual advisor's trade rec was go long!! I've been trading two years now, and this is this best system that I've found that works for me. And the fact that it's based on Elliott theory and has entries that line up like a sniper's rifle, gives me a lot of confidence in sticking with this system.

As good as this system is, I still want to make a point of mastering the new elliott counting. When I first heard of "new rule", I thought, oh yeah, probably some bull crap I've already heard. But when I read what the rule actually was, I think my mouth dropped... I knew right away, not knowing this cost me a lot of lost trades in the past.

I just wanted to post this here because I liked what he said about also
sticking with learning NEWR. Also I am a believer in "Earning while Learning".
