Hello,

Thank you for posting the charts. I’m new to this, so having a current example, as a place to start from, has been a great help to me!

I wonder if someone would have time to look at the charts below, and let me know if it looks like I’m counting the waves correctly, or not.

Thanks,

Perry

Perry- Looks good! On the lower chart, you are missing an rtb on the last wave from pink 4 to green (a). Since the wave following pink 4 is a 5th wave, it needs an rtb. I am not saying it isn't "hidden" and visibile at a smaller time fram, just that it isn't labeled correctly on the chart.

My current chart is slightly different, but after viewing your count, I think I actually might like your's better! Here is mine:

Perry- In looking at your chart a little closer, your green (v) doesn't pass green (iii) which would make it a "failed" wave. There are no failed waves in this system, so that would be an error.

HOWEVER, I ENCOURAGE YOU TO KEEP POSTING. You did fantastic for your first try!
finster, thanks for catching my mistake…it was close Blush
Here are some more charts. Do they look correct? I’d appreciate any feedback.

finster,

I see my counts from the June 8th low to the June 21st high are a little different than your. Are mine a reasonable alternative, or did I miss something?

Thanks,

Perry

Hi Perry. Technically, in your pink 5 wave, I think your black iii is the shortest wave, which it can't be. Despite that, it definitely looks like you are getting the hang of it!

Have you tried labeling Blue wave 3 down yet? If you have, post it, and I will show you what I have.
Thanks for the feedback. I wasn’t quite sure if the “wave 3 can’t be shortest” rule still held under NEWR. Anyway, I wasn’t thinking about it when I was doing the counting.

I have not tried the blue wave 3 down yet…I will.

It becomes much more challenging when you try to do it on the fly. However, as you do more and more charts, you will see certain characteristics. For instance, the c wave of an rtb 4 generally "sticks out" and is wider then the rest of the wave. Also, wave 1 tends to be the shortest. The more you chart, you will definitely see a "fractal pattern" or a "look" for waves that occurs over and over which will help make it easier for you to chart.
I re-did my chart from the June 8th low to the June 21st high and brought it up to date. I would appreciate feedback.

finster – in looking at your chart from the June 8th low to the June 21st high, it looked to me like the Minuette, pink, wave 5 was longer that the wave 3.

5 may be longer than 3, but 3 is longer than 1. The rule is that 3 can't be the shortest wave.

Nice job on the chart!! Your chart matches mine:

Now, do you think 1083 is pink A, and 1075 pink B, or are we still building Pink A?
