Hi Tom

I have attached a chart I was playing with today. I am not claiming it is correct but noticed that the location of your 5 of iii is lower than your 3 of iii according to my chart (my wave 2). This is spreadbet data so maybe the data is incorrect.

Yes correct. That is what the notation is about which points to the inset
as supporting the placement.

When that became such a deep drop I was puzzled because the count
showed the need for a little more. That was before the futures data was
exposed by our crack sleuthing team. Smile

I was pleased to see it since it was during mid session and I am out of
the habit I guess of looking for gaps there.

Thanks Tom, I'm pleased you have the two monster wave 4's I was speculating on, makes me feel I'm making progress. Your 'A' in light of Friday's new high has to be followed by an RTB-B wave. I felt the market needed still higher but for a while was doubting the placement of the 'iii' top, but of course! - If the market wants higher it can do so soon enough after b of 'B' is over. Incidentally I have a target of around 1202 for b of B.

Hi Dan

The worrying bit is that Tom's 5 of iii didn't happen on my charts! The following chart is for the same section as Tom's futures insert

It is troubling when data is missing. A gap can often just be plugged
with a straight line. Not always though unfortunately.

Sometimes a required extremity is just not there. The rest of one's
count needs to be definitive to know what is required but not shown.

This gap is no different than any other except it occurs mid-session.

If you don't have the futures data ( I do not either ) you don't get to
see the evidence that a new high was actually made and the waves
continue their integrity with or without us watching.

Bottom line: Gaps Suck!

( That is the reason I left stocks & futures for forex - just for the
improved continuity - but just as challenging is a 24 hour market. I
did have futures data then of course but the daily gaps are still there. )

This is just another gap situation.

Looks to me Like we are ready for a pivot turn back down:

Here is another possibility:

Perry- Your orange 13:3 to 13:4 is missing a retrending b even though it is part of your 5 th wave of 12. Since it follows 12:4, it must have a retrending b to be valid.
Finster – thanks for catching that.

Finster, Surely (finally) we can now stick a 'B' on it.
